<p>I'm an int'l applicant come from China. I've been grown up there so my major language is no doubt Chinese. Since I've never studied in a English-speaking country, my stats might not be as good as yours. But, anyway, I wanna give a shot.</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>SAT: CR 600 + MATH 800 + WR 700 (ESSAY 9) = 2100 (I think i gridded something wrong on the CR section, cuz I don't remember I skipped any questions but my score report said that I omitted one. Weird.)</p>

<p>Didn't take SAT cuz I took SAT I in Oct, the time was limited.</p>

<p>TOEFL: 106/120</p>

<p>GPA: ~3.8</p>

<p>I'm in one of the best schools in China, so the mid- and final-exams are much harder than those in other schools. Plus, I'm in the best class in my grade, which means that I probably rank 10%.</p>

<p>My ECs are not very much cuz, y'know, students in China don't have much time spent on that. But I did tried to have some, like student-exchange program to America for half month, original songs competition, piano, and many other kinds of instruments, table tennis, etc. These all lasted for three years(h.s. in China are three years.)</p>

<p>BTW, i think i might want to retake my SAT in Jan, cuz I'm sure I can score higher than 2100, but I'm not sure if it's necessary, can somebody give me some suggestions?</p>

<p>I'm not gonna ask for FA.</p>

<p>This is the first time that I write a "Chance me" thread, so I must've missed something. If u guys think any other info provided is better, just ask me:-)</p>

<p>i cant say cuz your from china and that changes all. But if you were from America i'd say you could get in but its a crap shoot</p>
