SAT I: 1st time: 800M, 670CR, 390W(10 essay); 2nd time: 690W(11essay), 300CR, 410M ( super score: 2160)
GPA: 3.7/4
TOEFL iBT: 106

Awards:
won the third prize at the biggest Physics competition of my city when I was in secondary school.
Essay: I think it is excellent. Many smart people and professors helped me edit it.
LoRs: Brilliant! Those letters are from my Math and Physics teachers.

<p>How in the world do you drop from an 800M to a 410M? And applying to MIT and Caltech? lol how does that happen. Same with your 670 CR to 300 CR. That is crazy bad. This seems like a ■■■■■ post, unless you’re just a horribly random testaker</p>

<p>I was satisfied with my Math and CR scores when I took SAT the first time. Then, I merely tried to improve my writing score to earn a decent superscore. However, @SAT128, a sarcastic adviser is not a helpful one;) Thanks anyway.</p>

<p>littlegcl, I can guess what has happened. During the 1st test you focused on Math and CR and omitted or guessed the questions in the W sections. The 2nd time you focused basicly on the W section to improve your score. Am I correct? There is no other explanation.</p>
