<p>As of now, the main thing that is holding you back is your EC’s and your somewhat low GPA. Besides that, you’re doing pretty well. Good luck! (ED at penn?)</p>

<p>Raise your SAT to 2250+ and you’ll be set for most of those schools. That’s not to say they’ll become safeties, but a higher SAT score will definitely improve your chances. I have two comments before I leave, though.</p>

<p>In response to Unholy Sigma, I was not talking about the weighted GPA of 4.14. Besides, weighted doesn’t mean anything because each school does it differently. All I was saying was that at any top-tier institution, there will be tons of candidates with 3.9’s and 4.0’s. That is my justification for my earlier post.</p>

<p>I’m so sorry if you think I’m dumb. It is sometimes hard for me to post and I hope that you appreciate the fact that I could make a coherent sentence.</p>
