I'm probably the only person on CC below a 4.0 and thats not the president of every club ever invented, but what are the chances of me getting into the following colleges with my stats:

GPA: 3.572 UW, 4.391 W
Rank: 28/378
SATs: 1990/2400; 1330/1600; 630 CR, 700 M, 660 W (only took it once, not retaking)
Honors: Member of the National Honor Society in Junior and Senior year.
ECs: Piano accompaniment starting my Junior year, did accompaniment for Clef/Chorus groups at school, for school play, and paid accompaniment at multiple churches.
Member of debate team freshman and sophomore year; varsity my second year and won an award my first year.
Member of math team junior and senior year, captain this year.
Worked at pizza place 07/08 to 07/10.
Worked as cashier at grocery store 07/10-present.
Class schedule: all honors, taking AP Physics, Calculus, and Statistics this year (these are my first AP classes taken.) All previous classes have been honors (with two exceptions: a general history class my sophomore year and a general robotics class this year, BOTH because of filled classes on guidances part so I had no choice.)

I'm a white male with no hooks, live in RI so out of state at all schools except one. My intended major is actuarial sciences (or mathematics/statitcs where AS isn't offered as a major)

Schools I'm applying to (in order of choice):
University of Connecticut (EA)
WPI (Worcest Polytechnic Institute) (EA)
University at Albany, State University of New York
University of Vermont
Bryant University

University of Connecticut (EA) - match
WPI (Worcest Polytechnic Institute) (EA)- match
University at Albany, State University of New York - safe match
University of Vermont-match
Bryant University - in

try to aim higher

Thanks for the advice! I’m jut hesitant about how high, becuae my ECs well… suck, and my GPA and SAT aren’t bad, but they aren’t dazzling. Plus my major, actuarial science, is rarely offered. Anyone have any other dchools I coudl apply too, plus please chance more! (:

Chanced (: Thanks for the feedback guys!

Try to aim Tulane, Syracuse, Rochester and Lehigh. Those are good low reach-match for you with great chance of acceptances. ECs are only considered but not really taken into big factors by some colleges(check college board for detail), so don’t worry!!!

Thanks, I’ll look into them! :D

According to US news rankings, here are some more colleges you should be considering that are low reach-math for you. Again, EC won’t kill you in some of these colleges, good luck:
UCD
UCSC
UCSB
UCI
UCSD
UWM
UI Urbana-Champaign
Penn State
Miami
GWU
Boston
Ohio State

All are matches or safeties
University of Connecticut (EA)
WPI (Worcest Polytechnic Institute) (EA)
University at Albany, State University of New York
University of Vermont
Bryant University
Good luck. As other posters said, aim high.
