Chance me: Northeastern

Hi! I’m a high school senior looking for opinions about my acceptance chances to NEU in Boston, MA. I would, most likely, pursue a major in either biology or hospital administration/management.

-caucasian female from NJ
-Weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale is a 4.6 (almost all As)
-took more than most rigorous courses available
-junior year schedule: AP Eng Lang, AP Biology, AP US History, and AP Spanish Lang
-Exam scores: Eng (4), Bio (4), APUSH (4), Spanish (4)
-Senior year schedule: AP Eng Lit, AP Microeconomics, AP Government, AP Calculus AB, Anatomy & Phys (college course through local medical school)

-ACT: English- 35, Reading- 35, Math- 28, Science-28, Writing- 32 Composite- 32

  • I took the test four times, the above test is my best singular test as in my best score not superscored. However, 32 is also my superscore.

most unique honor: -statewide personal essay award (won’t be too specific, but very very selective)
-Spanish Honor society
-National honor society
-Amateur filmmaker, won prestigious founder’s award
-nominated for a prestigious school scholarship
-HS Soccer above and beyond award

Application
-Solid college essay, very solid supplements. This area is my strong suit. I know very few essays truly catch admission office eyes, but at the least my essay is not bad/detrimental to my application.
-Two solid recommendations, very close with each teacher. One is notorious for great letters.

Sorry, this is a lot of information. But, Northeastern is really my number one choice (followed closely by UPenn). I really want to get in which makes me lean toward early decision. However, I want a shot at academic aid/scholarship, which they offer to roughly the top 25% of the overall applicant pool, and from what I’ve read, they typically don’t offer aid to early decision candidates. So, should I apply early action or early decision? Do I have a chance of being in the top 25% of the pool? And what are my chances of getting in?
