Overall, I think you are definitely qualified for all of the schools you listed. Academically, you have a very solid GPA and a respectable rank, which, though not as impressive as a top 1% or 2%, shouldn’t hurt you because you go to a competitive high school. Your standardized testing scores are acceptable for the colleges you mentioned, though you should keep in mind that a 2200+ on the SAT will look more impressive than an expected 2130. However, don’t stress over breaking the mark as once you’re in the top 2% percentile, your scores alone are unlikely to break your chances of getting in.

As far as your extracurriculars go, I would say that you are set. I will admit that most of the other chance threads I’ve read have listed many more extracurriculars than yours, though I firmly believe that dedication to a few clubs and sports will always top sporadic membership in many clubs. Volunteering hours is impressive.

Overall, you have a solid chance of getting into the colleges you listed, other than Brown of course since you can’t predict chances for the Ivies that reliably. Since you are applying to Northwestern ED, I think you have a very high chance of being accepted.

If you have the time, could you stop by my own thread and leave a reply? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1200308-reasonable-chances-getting.html</a>
If you decide to check the thread, note that I dropped Yale and added WUSTL and Dartmouth to the colleges I’m applying to.

more input would be greattttt

Now that I’ve taken my tests…I got a 34 composite on my ACT and a 2180 (1510 M+CR) on my SAT. my rank and everything is the same; hope this gives a better picture on how I stand!

I think with those new scores you will have a very good chance of getting in. Show interest in Wash U because they really do care about that. Brown is fairly random in terms of admission. The rest you have good chances for.

I would appreciate if if you could chance me back: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1229746-am-i-reaching-too-far-harvard-cornell-brown-penn-hopkins-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

^^^ I agree
