GPA: 3.77/4.0 UW, 3.92 W

ACT: 32 C – 36 (English) 28 (Math) 31 (Science) 31 (Reading) 34 (Writing)

I’m applying to Northwestern’s Medill, the journalism school

EC:
Managing editor of one of the top high school newspapers (there are like 100 kids on it)
Went to a pre-Medill program this summer… lots of people call it a feeder to Medill
Deputy editor of the yearbook
60+ hours of community service
Student gov’t representative
played JV tennis

Awards:
Scholastic Art and Writing Awards - Natl Award in Journalism
Also got a few honorable mentions
NSPA award for a page design
2 CSPA awards for newspaper design and writing
National Honors society

I really don’t think I’m going to get in but we’ll SEE!!

I think your ECs are great. Cherubs will be a perfect addition to you application, I’m pretty sure. Finally, I’d say: don’t worry that much about it. You’ve already done everything you could.

lol so I’m pretty sure I know who this is because I am also a cherub and I saw it in the gc but I’m pretty sure you will get in because of cherubs and your test scores match their averages (but good luck!! we have the same test scores and I am also currently peeing my pants!)
