Hey everyone! Decisions aren’t too far, however i’m pretty curious of what my chances are… Would love to hear your opinions

Objective

New Sat: 1510

760 cr and 750 math

Sat 2s: 750 chem, 730 Literature, 760 ush

UW GPA: 3.9 out of 4

APs: APUSH - 5
Chem - 3
Calc AB- 5 (Will doing AB instead of BC hurt me in admissions?)
AP Lit - 4
AP Euro - 5

Senior Year courseload: AP French, AP Physics 1, AP Bio, AP Stats, AP Econ, AP Lang and Comp

Btw I didn’t do IB at an Ib school because I wouldn’t have been able to fit in all 3 sciences. Will this hurt me??

Major Awards: National Merit commended

Ethics Bowl, Science Olympiad, Varsity Debate, Lit Mag(Editor), MUN, French Club, Club Soccer, School Prefect freshman year, NHS, Key Club

Job/Work experience and Summer Activities: Summer job at restaurant, Science( Chemistry) internship at local university for economically disadvantaged - pretty selective.

Community Service: 200 hours at local hospital and 20 helping out at local mosque, tutored children in Pakistan

Essays: Immensely unique, I moved to America at the beginning of my sophomore year after living in Saudi Arabia. Chronicles how difficult things were and how much adjustment was requred. Also details my experiences living in a variety of countries - Egypt, Pakistan etc.

Teacher Recs - Calc AB teacher: She really liked me and knows how much I had to work in her class as the curriculum change from British(my old school) to American was hell. Had her for honors pre calc too so she knows me well. Was probably pretty good.

AP Lit teacher: I love english and Im pretty sure he could sense it so this was probably good too. Always did well in his class and I think he liked me.

Interview: Good. We talked for about half an hour, and he seemed to be enjoying the conversation.

Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Male
Income: Not too much.
Hooks: Immigrant? Speak four languages??(Urdu, Arabic, Eng, French) Added diversity, not too common?( Lived in a bunch of places)

very low chance, everywhere except umich, solid chances at mich because of sat but they will hinder you everywhere else, they are low and you are asian male

SAT Low they are in high 90 %-tiles will only perfect get in to Wash U, DUKE??

your SAT 2s are fine but not stellar, new SAT should be above 1540 for a solid chance. A 1510 should be fine though, it is just not ideal for Asian male

UMich and WashU are realistic goals. You may be shut out of the other 4. Interesting background but some factors holding you back.

your ec have no leadership and/or awards, SAT could be better but it won’t be the reason you get rejected from anywhere

Everything listed seems to be “okay” but not amazing. Additionally, the unique background could be a plus, but I think the effect of it on college admissions might not be as big as you think. Were you accepted to Chicago or Northwestern? If yes, then MAYBE ivies/duke will also be a yes. If not, well… hope you like your options as is.
