I'm number 4 in my class at a catholic college preparatory high school with a class of around 400 students.
I've participated in varsity tennis all four years of high school, as well as being a member of my school's recruitment corps, ambassador program, student council, national honor society, and the french national honor society (of which i'm the president). I'm a eucharistic minister at my school as well.
I also take part in psychology club, history club, and international club. I am a tutor as well.
I've received all 5's on AP exams. I've taken AP World History, AP US History, AP English Language, AP Chemistry, and now I am currently in AP Biology, AP English Literature, AP Statistics, and AP Psychology.
My cumulative GPA is a 4.6, though this year and last year I've been receiving a 4.8 or above GPA.
On top of my studies, I am a part time office assistant in the finance department of a major steel company.
However, I am not very good at standardized testing. My ACT score is a 30 (with a 36 in reading) but I just retook it and believe I got at least a 31. I only have a 30 because I did not know the whole "don't read the paragraphs" memo about the science section and could not finish ( it was my first ACT), so my science score was disastrous. However, I know for a fact I did much better in Science this time around. I think I'm going to take it one last time in December as well.
I was able to get a letter of recommendation from a close family friend who works at the school as well. Does this help all that much?
Hope this is enough to judge me by. I'd really appreciate honest opinions. I know how hard it is to get into Notre Dame and really want to do all I can to get accepted.
Also, i'm new to CC so if this isn't where i'm supposed to post questions like this, i'm so sorry!

It’s a reach but at least it is reachable.
