Please chance me for:
Cornell University:
NYU:
UPenn:
Rutgers New Brunswick:
Carnegie Melon:
John Hopkins:
John Jay:
Princeton (lol..):

Junior Grades:
For my grades, my grades aren't going to change that much though:
AP English Language : B
AP US History II : A-
Honors Pre-Calculus: A-
Hnrs Lab Physics: B-
Popular Music: A
Phys Ed: A+
AP Comp Sci: A+

I am among the top 3% of the class
I am taking several AP courses such as AP History, AP Language and Comp, and AP Computer Science.
My GPA is around 4.53 weighted (how do I unweigh it)

On my December SATs I got
-Reading: 620
-Math: 760
-Writing 750
Total: 2030
This is my first time taking it.

For my extra-curricular activities I have:
1. Volleyball (2012/2013) Junior Varsity
2. Psychology Club
3. Volunteering at: my community, my Chinese School, local hospital (in the summer)
4. Piano Class (for half an hour every week starting from about 2008)
5. Went to Chinese School (Every Saturday 1st-8th grade)
6. Cashier / Host /Receptionist at a (higher-class) chinese restaurant (Began 2012 Summer)
*Higher-Class = Its not like those 100 sq. ft ones.
(7)?. I took swimming lessons at a college during my middle school years.
-Should I put this on my resume?

I would guess you will definitely be accepted to Rutgers & John Jay. (With possible scholarship to Rutgers - I got a scholarship to go there with similar stats).

Ranking the schools from best chances to worst chances:
John Jay < Rutgers < NYU < Carnegie Mellon < Johns Hopkins < Cornell < UPenn < Princeton.

This, of course, in no way means that I think you will get into any of the schools (besides John Jay and Rutgers). Your chances for NYU, Carnegie, and Hopkins are decent, but not definite. I’d consider Cornell and UPenn much more of a stretch. Princeton, unfortunately, I think will reject you. Not that you’re a bad student (you clearly are not), but Princeton is too selective nowadays.

In order to calculate your unweighted GPA, all of your AP/honors classes would count like a normal class. A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1. Average it all together and you will find your unweighted GPA.

Princeton is definitely a stretch due to their high selectivity, along with Cornell.

I suggest that you improve your GPA slightly. Other than that? I think you’re fine.

Provided that my grades do not change drastically, my GPA for my junior year will be about
4.6 - 4.64 based on where I am weighted.

Unweighted would be around a 3.65 - 3.7

-
I’m also planning to take the SATs again

(Anyone know any good months)

One more question…
Do colleges consider that since you’ve taken AP courses, your GPA would be lower than just taking academics throughout because of the unweighting

Be sure to focus on your reading comprehension - it seems to be your weaker field. I’m not sure if there are “good months” for taking the SATs; I didn’t even know if there was any…

Your unweighted GPA isn’t bad, but it is a tad low for Princeton (in my opinion).

As for your last question, I’m not too sure, though (in my opinion) I do think they would, but it wouldn’t be, like, an excuse for a low GPA. I know several people who take APs and still maintain an excellent GPA.

Just keep it up, work on your Reading score and maybe try to grab some more leadership positions in your ECs to buff it up.
Cornell:Reach
NYU:Low reach
UPenn:Reach (depends on SAT subject tests a bit…)
Rutgers New Brunswick: Not sure…
Carnegie Melon: Low Reach/High Match?
John Hopkins: Low Reach
John Jay: Not sure
Princeton (lol…):Reach

I don’t know any good colleges near the northwestern side of the hemisphere.
I’m just choosing colleges based on their names because I don’t know what I’m going to major in yet. What are some match colleges?

John Jay and Rutgers are safeties
NYU is a match
Carnegie Mellon, John Hopkins, Cornell are all reaches
UPenn and Princeton are super reaches (not that there isn’t a chance but you will need to have eyeball-popping essays)

Three things to point out though:
you added your sat scores wrong, its 2130 lol
pls put what you are majoring in
I would advise you not to put chinese school on your resume
