Chance Me NYU CAS ED1?

<p>Hi So I am a senior and I plan on applying ED1 to NYU CAS. I would appreciate if someone could let me know if they think I have any chance at all of acceptance lol</p>

<p>I go to a pretty competitive Highschool.. #2 in my city... #10 in my state.</p>

<p>GPA: W:3.76/ UW: My school doesn't unweight so I don't really know If I had to guess I would say 3.4 (I know it low for NYU CAS) :(</p>

<p>ACT: Haven't taken it yet but I'm really bad at standardized testing, according to collegeboard.com like 42% of NYU's acceptances had between 24 and 29 so I'm really aiming for something like 25-27.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Co-President/Co-founder of School Comedy Club
President/Founder of school Physics Club
Volunteer at Hospital
Writer for School Newspaper
Secretary of American Khmer Association
Tennis Team 4 years
Golf Team 1 year
After-school teacher at a daycare
Youth Soccer Coach</p>

<p>And I don't know how much this will help.. maybe not a lot.. certainly won't hurt though
I attended NYU Precollege this past summer and took 3 course, 2 of which were credit-bearing third one was pass/fail
courses/grades at NYU Precollege:
Criminology: A-
Hyperlocal Reporting: A-
Pass/fail Course: Pass</p>

<p>Oh and just in the past week I applied for the position of NYU Precollege Ambassador which basically just means if accepted I will spend my senior year helping out NYU prepare for next year's Precollege.. if accepted I will attend a training session as well as next years precollege orientation and speak about my experiences.</p>

<p>Your EC’s look great because you have had leadership positions, since your GPA is not as high as NYU’s average you can even it out with a kick butt essay which they put a lot of weight on. Good luck and chance me please??</p>

<p>I feel like you’ll be totally fine and your gpa isn’t the only thing you’re offering so don’t worry about that. The precollege thing will help, I’m sure. It’ll also look good that you’re the founder of a club. Aim high for your ACTs and I am sure you’ll be golden.</p>
