<p>Hey everyone, I applied to nyu at cas early decision ll for economics and.mathematics</p>

<p>Gpa:3.6 with huge upward trend</p>

<p>11th grade gpa was a 3.9 </p>

<p>Took two college courses,
Introduction to business at baruch college grade: a
Microeconomics at New York university grade: in progress </p>

<p>School didn't offer ap courses </p>

<p>E.c
Japanese club
Digital media
Bpa
STEP</p>

<p>Work experience
Floorplan maker for apartments
Personal assistant </p>

<p>Standardized tests
Act composite 24
Math 25
Reading 24
English 24
Science 24
English/writing 25
Pretty bad.. I am re taking with hopes of improving a few points.. but I'm hoping that taking a college course at nyu and doing well in it will help to offset these also my professor for my college course at nyu did write me a letter of recommendation.. </p>

<p>With that ACT it’s pretty unlikely, you probably have 1 more chance and treat it like your chances depend on it. If you do get it, you better not be expecting aid (most people aren’t satisfied). Weak ECs, hype up your work experience, though.</p>

<p>Most people say standardized test scores aren’t everything, they are sugar coating it. I got an abismal 24 my first time… a 27 the next… and a 29 on october’s. Done taking it, not completely satisfied, but it’s enough to put me in contention. </p>

<p>Hard work pays off.</p>
