Please keep in mind that I am applying early decision.

you are probably in…I dont see why they would reject you

Maybe your SAT math is a little low for business, but it should not be a problem. Overall SAT super score is good
Ideally you should be in the top 10%…that rank will hurt you
Is that 3.81 weighted or unweighted…if it is weighted that is not good…

Other than that, your ECs are great, but they are fairly scattered
Multiple 2-3 week internships does not show concentration, it would be better if you could advance yourself in one of them for a while
seems like your strengths are in soccer and band, and again your volunteer experiences are fairly scattered

But dont get me wrong, your stats are excellent, I am just pointing out any weak points I can find
Your focus in soccer and band are great ECs, I am pretty sure you will get in, just try to raise your rank

thanks a lot man i really do appreciate the rating

i hope more comments will be as comprehensive and precise as yours
my ecs do seem scattered and i would agree i need to focus on an internship for longer

again, thanks for your comment

I was reading some other stern ED chance threads, and others were saying to some kid that a 3.5 and OK EC’s has a good shot, so dont worry

I was really over analyzing, you are pretty much in, you should even consider HYPSM, I think you have a good shot there too

No problem helping a fellow Indian out

I think you are totally fine. GPA is unweighted right? Although your class rank is not the highest, I’d still say you have a very good chance. They would be insane to reject you.

I think you would have a much better shot if you bring up your math scores.

is the gpa weighted? whats your weighted gpa? your class rank might hurt you in the end. Your school doesn’t seem to be that strong since not many kids get into ivies from your school. And kids can have 4.95s apparantly? oh and the rangers aren’t an elite team lol

that is my unweighted gpa. my weighted gpa is 4.24 but i did not think colleges took the weighted score into account

and to collegebound41, how do you know anything about my high school?
according to the naviance tool, this year we have 4 kids going to UPenn, 1 to Stanford, 2 to Columbia, 1 to Brown, 2 to UChicago, 1 to Swarthmore, 1 to Amherst, 1 to Darthmouth, and 3 to Cornell. Last year we had 1 to Harvard and 1 to Princeton.
Yale (after someone chose not to go after being accepted early decision) has blacklisted my school and no one has ever been accepted.

Also, I had wrongly estimated my class rank.
In a grade of 489 kids my true rank according to my guidance counselor is in the 10th percentile. However, my school does not report class rank or percent to colleges.

and im not saying my Rangers team is of national caliber, but it is good enough to take on teams from the entire east coast. in the past season we beat the state champs of maryland and the second place teams in Pennsylvania and New York.

this is a bump.

^^^ it said randolph soccer club which you said was local. i assumed you went to randolph high.
