Chance Me - NYU Transfer

<p>Let me know what you think of my chances....</p>

<p>HS GPA: terrible...not really sure but I didn't care about academics when I was in HS
SAT: Haven't taken it. I heard that I don't need it because I'm transferring as a Junior.</p>

<p>CC GPA: 3.83 with liberal arts courses as a junior level transfer
ECs: Serve on a couple organization boards, have volunteered over 250 hours, ran for local office, Honors Society
Work Experience: Have had paid positions on a few campaigns
Essay: Awesome
Recs: Very Solid</p>

<p>Also, I had to withdraw from 3 courses my first semester at CC because I had to move away temporarily for work.</p>

<p>Is my 3.83 enough to transfer to either Steinhardt (for communications) or Gallatin.</p>

<p>3.8 is definitely high enough for Steinhardt comm. i transferred to Steinhardt comm with a 3.45 and a ton of ECs to offset that 3.4.</p>

<p>i think you have a good shot… the GPA is not everything, so keep getting involved in stuff… and hopefully that essay is as awesome as you say :)</p>

i just got into usc and im not planning on transferring anywhere, so i wont steal it/whatever :p</p>
