<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>I plan on applying to these four colleges in this order of importance to me.</p>

<ol>
<li>New York University (Shanghai Campus) Early Decision</li>
<li>University of Florida</li>
<li>UC Berkeley (possible UCLA)</li>
<li>Florida State University</li>
</ol>

<p>Here are my stats.</p>

<p>Asian male with relatively high income.</p>

<p>GPA: Weighted 4.24, unweighted 3.74, top 10%(will definitely increase after this semester since I'm taking 5 AP's and have straight A's right now)</p>

<p>ACT: 29E, 30M, 29R, 32S, 26Combined E/W: 30.</p>

<p>SAT: 630R, 700M, 570W: 1900</p>

<p>SAT2: Taking Chinese, Math I, and Literature on 11/3, but not feeling too confident because I'm not going to have much time to study.</p>

<p>Past AP's: Human Geography (5), Psychology (5), World History (4), Music Theory (4), Chemistry (3), Literature (3), Calculus AB (1 lol).</p>

<p>Current Classes: AP Physics B, AP Literature, AP Statistics, AP European History, AP Microeconomics, Band Honors.</p>

<p>EC's:
Band: 9, 10, 11, 12, Section leader 10, 11, 12.
Varsity Football: 11,12.
JV Soccer: 9,10,11.
National Honor Society: 11, 12, Officer 12.
Key Club: 10, 11, 12, President 12.
Class of 2013 Club, 9, 10, 11, Vice President 10.
Global Partnership Club: 11, Officer 11.
Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society: 10, 11, 12.</p>

<p>Awards:
AP Scholar with distinction.
Duke Talent Identification Program (7th grade)
Florida All-State Band: 1 year.
USF FOW Honor Band: 2 years.
Pasco All-County Band: 5 Consecutive years.</p>

<p>Currently writing my essays, they're coming off as pretty deep and sophisticated for now. My common app essay will talk about moving from China to America, and hopefully will help my chances with the NYU Shanghai campus.</p>

<p>Hopefully getting excellent recommendations from my past teachers and guidance counselor.</p>

<p>Are you a resident in FL? If so, I think you have amazing chances at UF and FSU. Your GPA, rank, and EC’s are great imo</p>

<p>You should apply to all those schools. You do have a chance to get accepted at all of them.</p>
