Thanks for your time.

You are very qualified. What school do you plan on applying into? If there is no financial concern, I would recommend applying Early Decision, which is binding but will increase your chances of acceptance dramatically.

Yeah go Early Decision ! Check if NYU has a field hockey team.

You’re well qualified but NYU’s College of Arts and Science acceptance rate was 13% this year and Stern was like 8% so who knows

To be honest, it was very difficult to get into college this year. Almost every school’s acceptance rates dropped significantly. While I was admitted into NYU CAS and will be attending in the fall, it was in no way smooth sailing. I think you’re very qualified, even more than I was, but there were thousands of people just like you who were rejected, and thousands of people whose stats were no where near as good as yours who were accepted. There’s honestly no way to know what the admissions officers are looking for. I want to say that you have a good chance, but even I could be wrong. Good luck anyways, your stats are excellent, so you’ll definitely get in somewhere, just focus on perfecting your essays and making them sound as genuine as possible. I didn’t get rejected anywhere this year (thankfully) and I attribute that to my essays that I spent a lot of time on. Authenticity is key!

I also recommend early decision if NYU is your top!
