I'm at USF and I hate it. Schools I'm applying as a transfer applicant to:

Duke
Columbia
Vanderbilt
UF (preference)
Cornell
Brown
Georgetown
NYU
BC

This would be about a year from now, so I'm not sure how the budget cut will hurt my chances for UF.

I'll have 63 credits. I'm anticipating at least a 3.8 GPA, probably higher. I only have 12 credits from freshman year (there will be an explanation in the personal statement/interview, as I had a death in the family during this year that required me to constantly be hours away from school) but I'm taking enormous workloads and anticipate success. High school definitely was not spectacular with only a 3.3 unweighted, 3.8 weighted.

EC during my time in college are as follows.

Karate, Muay Thai (both independent of school), Pre-law Society, College Democrats

Also, I'll be applying for summer sessions at all of these schools (fall if they don't have them).

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I'm applying to the Philosophy major at all of these schools.
