http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1022392-chance-me-stanford-ea-one-last-time.html

You seem really impressive, so I can def see you getting in. Only thing is that college admissions are so difficult to predict lol. I say you’re a low/mid reach, but that in itself is a good position to be in! Good luck :)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1027620-brown-ed-chances-i-chance-back.html

I would say IN too, you have an outstanding GPA, good scores and you are a definite match for Columbia. I’d say don’t worry and just chill until the results are in.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1040510-please-chance-me.html

I think you are probably the perfect example of someone who has a high chance of admission despite “low” standardized test scores. Congratulations on your resume thus far, and good luck!

thanks everyone!!
by the way, my SAT II scores are: 800-spanish, 690-math lvl2, 690-chemistry. I was also chosen to compete in the national Chemistry Olympiad

i really hope I get in!!

Puerto Rico . IN!!!

bump :)

I think you have a real shot. But are you looking for scholarships? Columbia only gives need based aid.

I think your in. Your extra curriculars are good. so are your scores and classes.

You have a really good chance!!! :)

Good luck!

Can you chance me back?

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1039731-chances-international-student.html

your personal statement is great!!!
i think youre pretty much set =]

I think you have a 30percent chance chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1041167-chance-me-i-will-chance-you-back.html

You’re app should stand out and you have excellent grades. The SAT score is below average for Columbia but everything else may make up for it. You have a decent shot, good luck.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1039693-chance-me-these-schools-ill-chance-back.html

I’d give you a 50% shot. Hey, you’re Hispanic… Although this may sound distasteful, it really gives you a good edge.

HarvestBristle:
Good Luck to you!!! Expect to hear the good news in early December.

I think you definitely have a solid chance of getting in Columbia.
I wish you the best luck!

Id have to say your weakest things are your standardized test scores, but you have a definite hook being a URM and alot of great extracurriculars, id have to say it all depends on which admissions officer you get, they’ll either love it or hate it
