Chance me on LACs and small unis in the northeast (plus Ohio)

Hi guys, I’m new to this so if I posted this in the wrong section or format
bear with me.

I am junior and I go to a highly recognized public school in New York (Horace Greeley High School) we just got best public school in the country a few months ago.

I have a 3.8 gpa and 32 ACT. I am taking APbio and APUSH this year and I will be taking APcalc ab, APenvironmental, EHAP, and AP 3D art next year.

Clubs:
-Principals advisory (2nd year)
-also a student rep on this committee of teachers, adminstrators, and architects that are making a new science/technology/art building
-relay for life-3 years
-Beach ocean protection club-3years (secretary this year and president next year)
-art/lit magazine (editor this year and higher editor next year)
-I helped to start an inventors club and -I have a leadership position this year and will be president next year.
-I have a job in retail (organic/eco friendly/charity children’s toys and clothes) and I am very close with my boss so she might right another letter of rec. I work over 15 hours a week. I help with customers, entering items, birthday parties, etc
-I also babysit and tutor a lot (math mostly)
-past two years I have been doing an independent study with an art teacher and I’m in the process of creating a book.

I have very good relationships with teachers and I’m Hawaiian and will probably write about how hawaii isn’t paradise in my essay or about alternative art that interests me (tattoos and graffiti)

I am interested in art/art history (especially product design/architecture) and business and philosophy/social sciences. I am looking for smaller schools 2000-7000 and urban or suburban just not rural. I really want a liberal, lgbt friendly, lots of art kinda college. (Not too preppy and sports don’t really matter)

My list so far
-Skidmore (safetyish but I loved it)
-Wesleyan
-Tufts
-Brandeis
-Case western
-Brandeis
-Carnegie Mellon
-Oberlin
-Conn College
-Lafayette?

Chance me please! Any ideas on similar schools would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

WIlliams has one of the best art history programs for a LAC. But it is preppy and is a reach for most everyone, but probably worth a look for you

my high school is v preppy so I’m looking for anti-preppy ahahaha

Good list. Have you heard about Brown University and their program with the Rhode Island School of Design? Obviously Brown is a stretch but the RISD program might fit you well

kinda terrified of even glancing at Ivys tbh but yeah thank you!
