id appreciate any input on my chances and anything i could do to increase my chances. thankss

just wondering but do you happen to go to CHS? i went there with similar grades, and APs and lesser everything else and I got into uchicago, berkeley, and ucsd. i didnt get into ucla or stanford but ucla was kind of an anomaly given the other schools i got into. i would say you can definitely get into ucsd, berkeley, ucla, and usc with stanford, yale, and harvard being toss ups and i have no idea on northwestern. for uchicago, you have a great chance of getting in as long as your essay shows why you’re a fit for this school. i would suggest doing lots of research into it and writing your essay keeping in mind that they are sometimes more concerned with whether or not you will fit into their school than with your stats. i know people with less impressive stats than yours that have gotten in and some with more impressive stats than yours that got denied. i go here now and i can tell you confidently that the admissions dept highly values creativity, originality, weirdness to some extent, and a desire to learn. if you show you’ve got that, then you can definitely get in.

i do go to chs ahha small world. but yeah thanks for the reply.
