Here are my credentials:
GPA: 3.1 unweighted (i know its low but i take all honors/AP)
SAT's: 2200
SAT II's: US History 750 Biology 750 Spanish 800
I Am Latino/Hispanic
Have community service hours in Brazil and other South American countries
i know this is vague info but just from a general overview, what are my chances of:

University of Michigan- Ann Arbor
NYU
Stanford
University of Illinois - Urbana
UC Berkeley
Boston University
Northeastern University
Indiana University - Bloomington
University of Virginia

Thanks in advance... also, how many hours of community service is considered a lot? And i am planning on writing an essay to sort of negate my low GPA, if that helps..

Your GPA is admittedly low, but you said you take all APs? How many exactly? That will help having all the AP classes.

SAT scores and subject test scores are great; make sure to highlight your ECs!

UMich - Low Reach
NYU - Reach
Stanford - Reach
Illinois - Low Match
Berkeley - Low Reach
Boston - Match
Northeastern - Match
Indiana - Match
Virginia - Low Reach

I’d apply to a safety or two but I suspect you will get into a few of those schools above.

Low reach- close to high match
Reach - typical reach school, not likely to get in
High match - You’re a match, but barely
Low Match - Almost a Safety
Match- You’re a good candidate.
Chance me back?

All reaches except for illinois, virginia and northeastern. You hce good sat scores but low gpa. Colleges weigh pretty heavily on gpa and you should tell us what is ur weighted gpa. Need more outreaches and yeah, good job on the sat though, chance me back

NYU and Stanford are reaches, Illinois and BU are matches. Definitely try to raise your GPA, though, because colleges put a huge emphasis on that. What AP/honors classes are you taking?

In my opinion, other than your GPA your stats look really good! Really good SAT 2’s and a nice SAT score. Especially for an URM, which should help you a bit. Make sure to really kill it on the essays and get really good Teacher recs, and you’ll be set for most of those schools! Thanks for chancing me!

I am one of those paranoid sophomores who is freaking out about getting into a college such as upenn. I am in the international bachlorette for those of you who know what that is.
I just wanted to see how I was doing.
