Chance me on UC D?

<p>Hey guys. I'm planning on applying to UC Davis, but am curious of my chances. I have a nice essay done, and some nice LoRs...</p>

<p>EDIT: Planning on doing a biology-related major...</p>

<p>GPA: 3.746 UW, 3.861 W</p>

<p>ACT: 32 (~2130 SAT equivalent)</p>

<p>SAT II: Biology (780)</p>

<p>ECs: 14 years of karate, some clubs, building houses in mexico, some community service hrs</p>

<p>AP/Honors Courses taken: 7</p>

<p>AP exam scores: Biology (5), Planning on taking the AP Psychology and AP Statistics exams (expecting 4s or 5s)</p>

<p>I know my GPA isn't that good, especially for a prospective UC applicant, but I took extremely hard classes throughout HS :/ Not the smartest choice I know, but I prefer it to sitting back and lying around.</p>

<p>Also, my high school was ranked in the top 40 public high schools in the nation - does this mean anything in admissions? Thanks ;]</p>

<p>Or if you could chance me on other mid-tier UCs (UCSB, UCI) That would be appreciated too :)</p>

<p>In my opinion, you’re pretty much guaranteed into Davis. I know people with the same GPA but much worse ACT/SAT scores that got into UCD. As for UCI and UCSB, I’m pretty sure you can make it in those as well. Your chances are pretty good in my opinion.</p>
