UC San Diego–Match to Slight Reach
UC Santa Barbara–Match
University of Rochester–Match
Boston College–Safe Match

I’d also consider applying to Notre Dame or Vanderbilt if you don’t mind the weather (which considering you applied to Northwestern, doesn’t seem to be a problem).

THANK YOU

You’re a match for all of your listed schools except a Reach for UCLA and borderline on Hopkins. Your AP scores, if they are 2 & 3, are quite low and I would probably recommend not including them into your application. Otherwise I think a 2050/4.0 is very good.

I think you should definitely consider some safety schools. Good luck with applying to colleges!

can anyone recommend some good safety schools for me?

Public Safeties: UCSC, UCR, UCM and most of the CSUs (assuming you have the A-G requirements).

Privates: LOTS. Look at the second and third tier National Universities and “Master’s Universities” lower ranked schools for lots that would not only be safeties, but would be likely to offer merit $$.

bump 10 char
