It seems like every post I read is about a 4.0 student with outstanding SAT's and ec's. I have a 3.52 GPA, 1820 on the SAT's 630 critical reading 580 math 610 writing. I have taken 7 ap classes and many other honor classes. My ec's are not substantial, I played JV baseball for two years, play community baseball, basketball, take private violin lessons, am in a church youth group, and FBLA. I was wondering what my chances would be at JMU and Virginia Tech (my top 2 schools). I am also applying to VCU, George Mason, Christopher Newport, Mary Washington, and Radford. I live right next to George Mason so I don't really want to go there. The rest of the schools other than JMU and Tech I don't really care about or have any real interest in attending. Can somebody ease my paranoia and tell me if i have a chance at JMU and Tech? I am a minority if that even helps at all, half korean half white.

Your ethnicity hurts you.

my ethnicity hurts? seriously? then i won't even report it. I haven't finished the application yet.

I think you have very good chances at both of them. Good luck!

Your are in all the school's you listed.............come on..................!!!!

Good luck, you've done very well. I hope you go to JMU or Tech and have a great time.
