Chance me OOS? I'm so nervous...

<p>Well just a couple more weeks to go! What do you all think of my stats for UNC OOS? This is my DREAM school and I'm very impatient to see what's going to happen!</p>

<p>I'm ranked number 2 in my class (small-ish private school). We don't offer honors classes, but I've taken the most challenging program offered at my school (all APs offered except one). We also don't really give out many awards, etc., and there are not as many clubs and such as you would find at a larger school.</p>

<p>GPA: 4.07
SATs
Math: 690
C.R.-750
Writing-710
C.R/Math: 1440
TOTAL: 2150</p>

<p>SAT Subject Tests
Biology: 680
Literature: 720</p>

<p>Activities:
As you can see, violin/orchestra are things I've been seriously involved in, and I brought this out in my application.
Violin (VERY serious), private lessons 11 years. Certificate exams, play in community, etc.
Orchestra-8 years, participate in 2 week summer tours.
Theater
Varsity Cheerleader
HEAD COACH of Middle School Cheer Squad
National Honor Society
Peer Tutoring
Morning Announcement Club
LOTS of church and community volunteer work
Girl Scout, served as delegate to national convention, earned Silver Award</p>

<p>ESSAYS/RECS: My essays are excellent. My recs should be as well :)</p>

<p>INTERNSHIPS: this summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work on capitol hill in a North Carolina congressman's office (who happens to be a UNC alum...helpful!) I'm really going to try and bring this experience out in my application.
This spring I will intern for NPR's "All Things Considered" as part of my senior thesis project.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty damn good chance of getting in. Your ECs are good, especially in the sense of quality, not quantity (not to say that you don’t have a lot). You def have a good chance, better than me haha. But it is very hard to get into Chapel Chill</p>
