Chance Me OOS, por favor?

I'm a white female at a public high school in North Carolina. It's one of the best in the state (as in top five).

I'm expecting about a 3.85 UW GPA at the end of my junior year, but this year I took hard classes in subjects that aren't my forte, while next year I'm taking 6 APs and five of them are my strong points - English Lit, Spanish Lit, Art History, US History, and Psych.

SAT: CR 800, M 720, W 710 (essay 8) --> Composite 2230, CR + M 1520
ACT: 32 (E 34, M 28, R 35, S 31, W 31)
SAT II: World History 800
APs: World History 5

I'll have been on varsity Cross Country and Track (two sports) all four years, and I'll be Captain of the Cross Country team my senior year, which involves a lot more responsibility on my team than on most - my co-captain and I will be organizing summer practices, have input on our meet schedule, run fundraisers, and order and design uniforms and t-shirts.

I'll have been a member of Habitat for Humanity for four years, and hopefully an officer (we hold elections later this month - cross your fingers for me!)
I'm a member of the Spanish National Honor Society. I've served at my church as an altar server for 9 years, with 3 years in a leadership position.
Also, this summer I will be attending the NC Governor's School, which is a very prestigious academic summer camp for rising seniors - only 600 are accepted from the whole state in 12 different fields (I'm going for English).

All of that sounds pretty nice now that I type it out, so I'll highlight my problems areas:

-Junior Year Grades: I'm praying for Bs in AP Biology, Honors Bio Lab (required with AP Bio), and Advanced Honors PreCal (definitely not my fortes), as well as AP Euro (which IS my forte). Will UVa understand that the classes I'm not doing well in are either ridiculously hard or not my forte? Will it help that my senior year grades will be much better?

-Volunteer Service: My school requires 25 hours by graduation, and I'll have at least 25, but probably not much more because my sports have always taken up so much time, and because, since it's required, my heart has never been in it (until I turned 16 - now I'm allowed to build houses for Habitat, which I really have a passion for). Does UVa place a heavy emphasis on volunteer work in their applicants?

-Class Rank: I go to an incredibly competitive high school (in a university town, so everyone [except me] is a professor's kid or a doctor's kid), so my class rank will be horrendous. I'm not kidding. With three Bs, I'll be down to about 40th out of 400. Will UVa take into consideration how competitive my high school is?

Thank you so much for reading this, I know it's hugely long!!!

I don’t know… They don’t like to see a weakness anywhere and you seem to have some in Math/Science. On the other hand you seem very involved in HFH and your passion shows.
Your class rank is just within the top 10% but that’s not enough for OOS. And finally they want to see mostly A’s. They will consider the strength of your curriculum with what your school has to offer.
But … why not apply to UNCCH? It’s as good a school as UVA would be cheaper and would be easier to get in IS.
