You have a great chance at UC’s and UCSC. Judging by your semi-weak extracurriculars and low sat score (for the schools), you’ll have an extremely hard chance to get into the top four on your list.

LOL says the person who has a 3.5 GPA and finds “classes useless and boring!”

Hey, there’s no need to be snide to other commenters : /. Anyways, I would just submit your old SAT score down rather than the new one if possible, as its higher according to the concordance tables. Your ECs are decent, but I’m inclined to agree with @FiddleMySticks in that it may not be strong enough to stand out to those top 4 schools, as they’re tough admits for everyone, even those with better EC’s and stats than yours (not trying to make a jab or anything, it’s just how it is with admissions at those schools). Your essays are going to have to be particularly strong for those top 4 schools just to further individualize yourself from the thousands of people applying with similar stats and ECs to yours. To sum it up, definitely don’t count yourself out of the running for those schools, but don’t beat yourself up if you’re not accepted into them either. Good luck (:

As you probably already know the CommonApp only allows for 10 EC spots. I would really choose carefully because the activities seem a little scattered.

We go to different schools and the difficulty level at each school is completely different. Your ignorant comments show that you don’t deserve to the top four on the list so don’t even bother applying.

@FiddleMySticks I do apologize, and I do agree that my chances at those top 4 schools on the list will be affected negatively by my SAT scores and scattered activities. I’m sorry for not taking the school factor into account as well. I appreciate your honesty about my chances.
