SAT I- M650, R620, W550 (~1790 since i don't remember the actual scores right now, and i know it's low but sigh...I want to kill myself because of this. I think this will kill my chances for the Ivies D: )

I have two jobs. I work as a casier 10 hours a week after school(under the table by the way. Should i still put it? Will colleges check? haha) I also work as a receptionist at a salon when I'm not working as a cashier. I volunteer at the Free Library of Philadelphia every week and have more than 200+ of community service. I also play the piano on my leisure time. I made honor roll every semester of every year. I also made Barnwell Honors. I also tutor students when they need it. I'm on my way to become a doctor actually. Yea not really that amazing.</p>
<p>Clubs:
Art with Heart: We make crafts and sell them to the student body. All the money that we raise goes to charitable organizations or places like the Children's Hospital, etc.
Origami Club: Same thing as Art with Heart except only origami.
Recycling Club: We collect trash and sort them out and recycle recyclable items. Environmentally conscious HAHA. Just Kidding though. </p>
<p>I am really passionate about the sciences. Around 6 students at my school have already been accepted ED for Penn which kind of makes me jealous which I hate. I'm still waiting for replies for RD though. Sigh. </p>

<p>GPA and Rank are both OK. SAT will probably hurt you a little bit (if you had done better, that you have nullified your so-so rank, in my opinion).</p>
<p>I don’t really see any leadership or any kind of focus in your ECs.</p>
<p>Overall, Cornell seems to be a high reach for you.</p>
<p>Honestly, your objective scores makes it very difficult for you to get into top schools. Still, your work experience and the fact that you are the first to go to college in your family shows that you have overcome adversity. Definitely put that on your apps somewhere.</p>

<p>Cornell is my specialty, so if you want to expand on which college in particular you plan to apply to, i can give you a far more accurate chance. Admission rates and what they look for varies wildly from school to school within Cornell.</p>
<p>the same goes for Penn, but overall it seems like a long reach. If you’re planning to go business, I don’t give you a good shot to get into Warton, but you may stand a chance if you have something else specific in mind</p>
<p>Villanova seems like the best fit from just a glance at your numbers. You stand a decent shot at getting accepted there. </p>
<p>i’ll respond to any increased info about Cornell applications that you’re willing to dish out. I don’t think its off the table, but you will have to do some extra work if you want to up your chances</p>

<p>you have too many Bs, your SAT is far too low, and your rank isnt great even if your school is super competitive. you’re not even in the top ten. dont know much about drexl, villanova, or university of sciences sorry. hope i wasnt too cruel…</p>
