Will probably finally be starting a Cultural Club aimed at providing students with cultural awareness, bringing in religious leaders, doing language tables, watching cultural movies, bringing in cultural food, etc. My friends and I got the green light, we just need to get it going.

Did other clubs but this list is long enough

Honors:
National science honors society (2 years)
National honors society (1 year)
Maybe International thespian society (honors society for theatre lmao) next year and national English honors society next year.
National AP Scholars Award

Other awards:
Won several science fair first and second places
Won local chapter`s valley psychological association award 2x
Won a scholarship to some college for 20,000 a year but not going (won another scholarship to state university for science)

Can I have advice on who to ask for recommendations?? I have a really good one from a theater teacher/club adviser/possible senior year English teacher, a really good one from 10 year chem teacher and was considering one from my psychology teacher but does that count as a “real” teacher or “core” subject???

My essays are pretty good, I`m still heavily in the process of drafting them though.

I’d appreciate any advice or responses you might have and will chance back.

Penn will definitely like the upward trend of your GPA, but it is still way below average for Penn RD. I can’t really tell you anything about your standardized tests yet, but above a 1500 on SAT and a 33 on ACT would definitely help. Your extracurriculars are good buy you may need some leadership positions. You have one nice one, and creating a club is definitely good. For letters of recommendation, choose a teacher that also knows you as a personal level. In my opinion, this is a high reach. However, if you apply ED, it should become a low reach. Of course, this is just my opinion. Good luck!

@sparkykoolkat thanks so much for the advice!!
