Essays should be decent if not outstanding.

Wrestling and orchestra activities make you an exceptional candidate for admission to Boston College. Boston College, however, is also one of the hottest colleges in the country so be sure to consider other schools as well.

ah thanks for the response. of course i’m considering other schools.

anyone else?

55-45. Leaning toward admission.

is that relatively high? how could i improve the chance being a senior?

bummmmmmmmmmmmmp!!!

anymore words of wisdom?

Rather than highlighting the positives aspects, let’s reflect on the weaknesses that you have time to improve. While your ACT composite at 30 is competitive, you actually only have one raw score over 30 (Math). That might be something that you can address through another ACT testing or trump entirely with your upcoming SATs.

Although you are being very honest in your volunteer activities, single weeks that are clearly called out (like your Habitat experience) make the volunteerism seem spotty. You might want to describe these in more detail without the time parameters unless directly asked.

Last, are there any school clubs to discuss in more detail?

Again, these are really picky points - but you still have some time to augment your resume! Good luck.

so, any more words of wisdom?

bumpidy bump
