This will be good for your applications as long as you have a good grade. I asked since some advanced math classes are very odd. I’ve heard of some ‘advanced’ classes that only prepare you, but don’t place you for a HS level class.
No class places you into a class at a boarding school. Placements are based off placement tests. Many incoming students repeat their last math/ language classes because the last class was not at the BS level.

I know that for when you’re in BS. But a few public schools have this system. The advanced kids go to honors alg. 1 freshman year and regular students go into the regular level their freshman year. I’ve seen this in two counties. Both were in different states.
