Ill chance you for USC since thats your top school. IMO, if you up that SAT to 2150+, USC will be a low reach/match for you. Right now, with that SAT, it’s a high reach, however.

Thank you arghwhy. I’m retaking the ACT (got a 27 on the first one) and do you know what score should I aim for to make USC a high match/low reach? Thank you so much

USC is a massive reach with your SAT score. For them, URochester, WPI, and RPI, you’re going to have to raise your SAT score to at least 2100, maybe even more.

Given your gpa, rank, and average/above-average ECs, I think the median USC ACT/SAT will put you at a match for USC. Anything above 2250, 34 would probably put you at a high match.

I don’t know if USC discriminates against asians, however, so that may also affect your chances.

Congrats on doing so good!!! Your accomplishments deserve recognition I believe you’ll get in as your ECs are great and your math score is absolutely phenomenal (how’d you prepare for math?) In regards to your major math and science are basically key to what USC will be looking for and with your sat math score you’re set but may I ask what your act subscore was for science? Good luck on your application process
