<p>First Essay: Not bad. Great intro, but talks about soccer, so cliche.
Second Essay: Very Good</p>

<p>I know my SAT score is killing me, but is there any hope? </p>

<p>Your SAT isn’t bad, trust me. You have good stats, and from the looks of it your UC GPA will be way above average. The only advice I would really offer (optional) is retake the SAT maybe one more time and work on your essays. The essays really make you stand out above your high grades/numbers</p>

<p>Admissions are a crapshoot, but you have a good chance. I got in with about the same scores. Race is also a factor.</p>

<p>This will end up going down to what geographic location your high school is in since you have pretty borderline test scores. Your grades are great, your SAT scores not so much.</p>
