Good chances. GPA is good. SAT scores are good.

Really? Thank you. :)

I was worried about my GPA might be a little low…

I don’t think NYU is one of the need-blind colleges. If so, you’ll have a better chance if you don’t need FA.

^
Really? Because I will probably be needing FA…

But, according to this comment NYU is need-blind:

[NYU Calling Poor Students To Remind Them How Expensive It Is: Gothamist](<a href=“NYU Calling Poor Students To Remind Them How Expensive It Is - Gothamist”>NYU Calling Poor Students To Remind Them How Expensive It Is - Gothamist)

“NYU’s admissions are need-blind, meaning we do not consider a candidate’s financial resources in making an offer; however, NYU is not among that relatively small number of U.S. colleges and universities that are able to meet full need (meaning the gap between what the federal formulas say should be the family contribution and what is available in the form of financial aid). It is from these two simple truths that our effort evolved… --John Beckman, NYU Public Affairs”

NYU IS IS need-blind, without any doubts. Don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise.

^
Okay. Thank you NYU2013. I was worried. :P

Yes NYU IS need blind . They don’t look at financial need in making a decision . HOWEVER, NYU is notoriously bad with financial aid . If you need a lot , apply for scholarships or research loans because it won’t be much

^
Yeah. I have heard that so I will be looking into those. :)

Can anyone else chance me?

NYU is need blind but there are rumors that they have bad FA…
I think you have a pretty good chance. I got accepted and my stats were kinda similar or weaker compared to yours…

Try to be creative on your essays. I heard several times that NYU looks for creative students  My essays were boring flops :P

Oh wow lol sorry I forgot to chance you .

Yes you do have a good chance

Thank you guys! :)

I would categorize my supplemental essays as boring flop so i hope i get in with them if you did.,.
