Chance me, please! (a hopeful junior)

Hi, I'm a junior in HS and I want to study nursing at NYU. Here are my stats as of now:

98.97% cumulative GPA (from 5 semesters, weighted).
My 5th semester gpa was 99.70%

This year: AP Language/Comp.
Next Year: AP Calc AB, AP Eng. Lit, AP Bio (darn College board cut AP Italian so....)
I take the toughest courseload possible with the exception of history...I decided not to take APUSH after figuring out that I pretty much hate history lol.

I go to a private Catholic high school. The class size is about 300. Ranks are not available but I estimate I am in the top 10%. I have been on Principals Honor Roll for 3 semesters and only 15-25 (?) kids make it each semester (which is a 99% or higher GPA for the semester). I'm actually gonna try to figure out this rank.

ECs are pretty scarce unfortunately. I have done 70 hours of community service at the local hospital (for "medical experience) and hope to get more hours this summer after I have knee surgery. 50 of those hours have been counted for a school requirement. And I have an additional 25 hours under my belt for the school requirement for freshman year. I have done softball through my park district every summer my entire life...I was going to continue this year but like I said I'm having knee surgery so that's done with. I do freelance Italian tutoring. I have no leadership positions; however I am an active member of the Italian Club (missed elections AGAIN due to knee injury!!). I also participate in Science Club.

Awards:
Principals Honors for 3 semesters, High Honors my freshman year (93-99 GPA)
Italian National Honor Society, will soon be finding out if I was accepted to NHS
Published Poet

ACT: 30
(December. Taking it again in April)
Will most likely take Math Level 1 and Italian SAT Subject Tests for the NYU requirement

Thank you so much for the help!

almost 30 views and not one reply? Please people!!

I think most people are more familiar with the other schools of NYU (myself, included.)

Everything looks pretty good. I would say you have a very good shot. Try to keep up good grades in your science classes and try to develop your ECs more. Some leadership might boost you too. Best of luck!

I see. Well I appreciate the response! Thank you.

You’re in. Don’t worry too much. Just keep them grades up.
