I'm a junior this year, so I will be visiting places over the summer. I'm still not clear on exactly what I would like to major in, but I have narrowed it down to three options: biology (with a focus in molecular bio or genetics depending on school), public relations (most schools that actually narrows down comm w. focus in pr) or good ole political science.
Here are the schools (if you guys have any general opinions about these schools feel free to share them as well!):
American University
Boston University
Chapman University
DePaul University
Suffolk University
U of Puget Sound

My stats:
GPA: 3.2 W (I know, rough)
Class load: I have taken five APs (Geo, USH, WH, Bio and Lang), two college courses (Psych and German) so far and next year plan to take 4 more APs. I will have taken English, math and some sort of science every year when I graduate. I have also taken 3 years of German. Next year I plan on taking: AP gov, AP macro, AP stats, College Anatomy, Physics, AP lit and my gym classes.
ACT: 31 composite. Science: 33, English & Reading: 32, Math: 25 (math is obviously not a strong suit so please do not recommend I take Calc instead of stats next year)
I will not be taking the SAT.
EC: (These will be my stats next year) Speech team (asst. captain soph year, capt. junior and senior year, 4 years on team total, section finalist), DECA (member 2 years, state finalist 2 years, attended ICDC [International Career Development Conference] for Leadership Development Academy), Student Council (2 years, junior year VP, hopefully class pres senior year definite candidate), peer leadership, summer term at BU 2012 (took 2 college classes, sociology and politics, got an A & A-), Girls State 2013, volunteer on political campaigns (60+ hr), and volunteer at local pub def office since 7th grade.
Other info: I'm not a citizen of the U.S., just a permanent resident living in MN. First gen college student.
