I plan on studying econ in college and I do realize that my ec's aren't amazing but my main catch are the classes I take at Drexel in econ and the research I'm doing this summer.

Your academics are obviously outstanding. GPA, SATs, and APs are all superb but your ECs fall just a tad short compared to HYPs applicants. I would say your best bets would be at UPenn, MIT, Cornell, and UChicago. You can never predict HYP because they can be so random.

Nice resume. Perhaps a decline at Harvard, Princeton, Yale-- one or all. Don’t take this wrong, you know what a crap shoot they are, and you have some NICE schools on your list.

I have one MAJOR criticism of your resume: your tennis game needs work. If you cannot make varsity after 3 years they shouldn’t let you tie up a JV spot for a fourth year. Fortunately for you, this will NOT affect your chances!

I get what you mean about the tennis, we don’t have a cut at our school lol and I only started playing in 9th grade. Hopefully i play varsity next year but its in the spring so colleges wont see anyways. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it :)

Academically you’re stats are really great (but you probably know that ) Your EC’s are only decent but they shouldn’t hinder you too much. For an applicant like you, the essays/recs. will probably determine your fate at the top ivys, but here’s my take on your chances:
Schools:
UPenn (legacy), Cornell, UChicago-Match
Columbia, MIT-Low Reach
HYP-Reaches (they are for everyone, and they’re pretty unpredictable)

I agree with everyone above me except I’d put MIT with HYP. Tough schools. For example: someone at my school got rejected from Yale with a 4.0/2390, but then one person with a 3.8/2360 and another with a 3.9/2370 got in. Go figure. You definitely stand a good chance at Cornell and UChicago though! Not sure how Penn takes care of its legacies, but you have a good shot there too.

You could have a few more ECs such as volunteer hours to boost your chances further

Good luck!

PS: what did you do to study for Sat2s? PM me please and thank you

your ECs and academics are outstanding. I don’t know if you can get into Harvard, Princeton and MIT, but I believe you have a great chance for Upenn.
