You noted that your only good AP score was on Calc AB. What are your other scores? What other AP’s did you take? Weak AP scores are troubling. You seem to have enough “safe” schools. Good luck!

for AP Euro, i got a 3.
the other two are not worth mentioning.

I have taken AP Euro, Cal AB, American Hist, English 11 language.
This year’s schedule is mentioned above.

you seem decent shot everywhere chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1041167-chance-me-i-will-chance-you-back.html

Cooper Union-unfamiliar
Princeton-high reach
MIT-high reach
Carnegie Mellon-reach
Cornell-reach
Northwestern-reach
CWRU
Tulane-low reach
Rose Hulman-unfamiliar
Johns Hopkins-mid-high reach
Rice-low reach
Rensselaer Polytech-match (750 math)
Vanderbilt-low-mid reach

UT Austin-high match
Texas A&M-match
UC Berkeley-reach
UIUC-in
Delaware-in
Georgia Tech-in
Michigan-match
Wisconsin-match/safety
Ohio State-match

Are you/have you spent like $1000 in applications? That’s insane!

Cooper union will be a high reach… Second most selective school in the nation for a reason.

I believe Cooper Union, Princeton and MIT are out of reach… Meaning they are very high reaches. Your ECs are what make many of the school reaches, but those three require a VERY high level of rigor, standardized testing and uniqueness in the essay (essays, ECs, volunteer service, circumstances(Supporting yourself financially while attending school is an example), URM ect).

Dang. That pretty depressing. haha
My EC is weak but it’s mostly centered on music and i kinda explained why i inevitably sought musical opportunities.
I just wanna get into one of the good schools. like…vandy or northwestern or above.
Maybe i’m hopeless!

Anyone else??

You have a fine shot at Vandy and NU.

Cooper Union-high reach

Fine shot at vandy and NU?
I thought low-reach is like…not very likely?

I’m not so familiar with Reach, low-reach terms.
ANYONE ELSE??

Low Reach basically means that you are in the running and have a good shot, but don’t bank on it. Mid Reach means you have a shot, but the school is so selective there is no way to be sure. High Reach means you still have some shot, but odds are not great that you’ll get in.

AHA!
What about…Matches??

What does it mean when someone says match?

Anyone???

What are my chances of getting into csuf, have a 3.31 gpa, already got admitted into csudh, gonna have 2 ap classes on my transcript, and other activities?

Anyone else wants to chance me???
