Hey,
My GPA is about 3.47, I recieved a 1990 on my SAT's (600 Math, 690 Critical Reading, and 700 Writing), a 750 on the SAT II for US History, got a 29 on my ACT's, have taken/are taking 14 AP/honors classes in my high school career, have a lot of extracurriculars, and submitted an Intel project. I have good recommendations from my teachers and the deputy superintendent of my school district, and strong essays. Oh, and I'm from NY. However, I have been told by numerous people Union is a reach school for me due to my GPA, but I am hoping my rigorous schedule makes up for it. Any opinions on my chances would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

i think you have a pretty good chance of getting in. your SAT scores are better than mine were and i have around the same GPA as you and i got in. good luck!!

Hey…I just got in with a 3.3 GPA, but I also was getting recruited for swimming. I don’t know how much of a difference that makes.

In my opinion, you’ve got a good chance of getting in. My SAT’s are a little bit lower than yours, but my GPA is 3.72, and my guidance counselor and others have been saying I have a pretty good chance. I think admissions takes into account a rigorous course load and extracurriculars. So I dont think you should worry too much.
Good luck Let me know if you get in!
btw, I’m from Schenectady. So if you ever have any questions about Union feel free to ask me.

When are the admission letters going to be out.

They are officially all released tomorrow supposedly, but I was rejected today. Disappointed bc it was in my top 5 schools, but I got into Tulane, Miami, Wisconsin, Maryland and Binghamton among others. I’m sure I’ll be fine. Good luck to you prontoboy.
