Thanks for reading and chancing =)

You would be considered an international I think because you’re not a permanent resident. This will hurt your chances quite a bit, especially since you would be competing with the applicants directly on Singapore with government scholarships. I think those kids are some of the best of the best. Hopefully you wouldn’t be applying for financial aid, because that could also hurt your chances (Cornell is need blind only for US citizens and permanent residents, i.e. Green Card). I would try and raise your SAT score to over 2200, maybe even 2300 and make sure you get straight As. Your extracurricular activities are sort of lacking. I would say overall, you’re a long shot. However, please don’t take me too seriously as I’m not on the admissions committee and college admissions are a crapshoot anyways.

yeah i e-mailed cornell and i am international, but they said they would consider me in the context of my high school, so hopefully that helps haha. and i won’t apply for financial aid anyway cause i would then placed in the international pool which is really hard. i’m trying to raise my SAT…anyway thanks for your comments!

If that’s the case, then you would have a much better opportunity to be admitted.
