Okay, I can only see three on your list that would be real stretches, that would be Penn Princeton and Duke. The GPA is a little weak for those schools, but that doesnt mean that you still shouldn't apply because your test scores are good. I say you have a good shot all the others, But I think the best school for you would be Hopkins because they are one if not the strongest in Medical Undergrad in the US

Thanks!

Quick question, my GPA is 4.36 (weighted) 4.0 (unweighted) -- and this is considered weak for UPenn, Princeton, and Duke? what should the GPA range be that they are looking for?

what about sat subjects?

Your GPA is fine, especially as it makes you 6/580, which is top 1%. Keep it up! Get some 5's on those APs as well.

That PSAT score will probably get you recognized and a 33 ACT is solid.

Your ECs, as presented here, aren't stellar, but they are okay. Use your essays and supplements wisely.

Pitt and Case Western should be easy. Kenyon and Franklin & Marshall are right above those and your chances are great for them too (though visiting these schools boosts your chances I hear). Carnegie Mellon, Hopkins, and Cornell are right above those and should be around the match area. Penn and Duke are slight reaches. Brown and Princeton are reaches for sure. GL!

How can a perfect GPA be weak?

SAT subjects - Math IIc 740, Biology 740, Latin 640 (need to retake or take another)

AP Bio 5; AP Psych 5
