USC BA/MD
Rice/Baylor
Case PPSP

Thanks :)

I am assuming you are aware that the programs you are applying to are the most competitive of the bunch. That being said, I think getting in will be an upward battle for you. Your SAT I is actually on the lower side for programs like PLME. Your EC are not spectacular. You definitely should apply, but I don't think you should get your hopes up to be honest. You're a good candidate, but not a great one.

You might try PSU-Jeff.
If you get in, you get to see Joe-Pa !!!

^unless he dies in the nex year- you have great chances, just try and improve med related ec's by application time.

You have great chances. However, I would include broader range of programs at state schools that are not as known as the ones that you have listed. My D. was top of her class, GPA=4.0uw - she did not get into PPSP. We were happy that she applied to other programs and had a choice of 3 (all at state schools). She is currently in BS/MD at state school and is very happy with her choice overall.

what the hell. you have great chances at all those programs.

you should add caltech/ucsd's program too. youre a strong applicant for that since you have many math and science activities/awards.

whats ur 50 time? Better then 22.6?

Swimmer 23, i'm not that great in swimming. my 50 is like 24.8, but i don't ever swim that event. so yeah.

oh, i didn't put that i'm gonna be swim team captain next year.

youre a liar. im going to be swim captain next year.

I think you have some killer stats, but the problem is that there's really nothing that makes you stand out. Like the poster somewhere above said, you're a good candidate, but not a great one. Are you applying to other schools that aren't BA/MD?

The above posters are greatly overstating your chances. Raw numbers only mean so much. As I said earlier, your SAT I is actually low for PLME. Your EC are rather ordinary when compared to other applicants in these programs. Look at the admission statistics for these programs; they are extremely competitive.

you have a good shot, remember to emphasize med related ecs and make yourself stand out...
:)

Ok, thanks for all the feedback guys. I really appreciate it. Any suggestions on things I could do to improve (besides ACT and SAT score improvement)? Oh, and my class rank is 2/651.

Any other posts? please help me out :)

It really is pretty much too late to really "improve" in a matter of speaking.....but your stats r pretty good so u should be fine, jus write killer essays and let the process take its course :)

nice whats your event?

so yeah, I swim mainly 100 back and relays. although i will swim 200 free and 200IM occasionally.

yea the im can kill

Very good chances at some pretty competitive programs.
