I'm an Asian 16 year old girl from a tiny town in NM.
Currently this is where I'm at:
SAT Superscores: CR-540 Writing-660 Math-710 = 1910.
ACT composite: E-27 M-30 R-31 S-27 Combined E/W-28 = 29 Avg.
AP Calc: 3
My junior schedule was APUSH, APCalc AB, English 3 H, IMP (math program at my school) 3-4 H, Spanish 2, Psychology H, Chemistry H, Speech and Debate 2 H. I got a B first semester in english and calculus but second semester I got all A's so my GPA is around a 3.8-3.9 unweighted and about a 4.7-4.8 weighted.
Senior year, my classes are APEcon/APGov, AP chemistry, AP Physics, AP Calc BC, AP literature, Spanish 3 H, Speech and Debate 3 H, internship.
At my school I am salutatorian. </p>

Just got back from UTNIF Speech and Debate camp in extemporaneous (Yes I love speech and debate).</p>
<p>I want to apply to Rice ED in economics, do I honestly have any chance with my scores being so low? If I do, what personal areas should I try to push the most in essays and such?</p>
