Chance me please (Carnegie Mellon, UVA, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Duke)

Could You guys please give me some help on my chances for any of these schools?

Carnegie Mellon
UVA
Cornell
Johns Hopkins
Duke

My high school record is kind of odd so my college counselor is having trouble with figuring out my chances. I definitely had an upward trend...

GPA UNWEIGHTED
Freshman- 2.2 (whoops)
Sophomore- 4.0 ( switched to Military School...lol )
Junior- 3.94 (switched to new School again Junior Year)
Senior 1st Trimester- 3.95

Senior first trimester grades were really strong. 5 A's and 1 A- with 3 AP, 2 Honors, 1 reg
Also I only took one Honors Course my Sophomore Year and none my Junior Year.

Is my Freshman Year just going to kill my Chances for the more competitive schools?

My school doesn't rank but Junior Year I was probably top 15 (out of 110 kids)

SAT (super score)

Math 700
CR 750
Writing 680

total 2130

EC's
Nothing super outstanding. Community service, sports, and a few awards for academics.
I Don't really want to list everything.

Common app essay is about the Military School and how that changed me.

I haven't applied to a couple of these schools ( Cornell, Duke, Johns Hopkins)
because I wasn't sure if I had any realistic shot.

So any advice would be appreciated.

If you’re in-state for UVA, then UVA and Carnegie Mellon are matches. Johns Hopkins is a reach, I would apply there in case you can get in. Duke and Cornell are very competitive, I would say No.

I think they all look like reaches. Are you in-state for UVa?

Yeah in state for UVA. I’m really banking on getting in there I think. How much does being in state really help anyway?
I have some other less reachy schools that I’m applying to but was wondering about my chances on these more competitive ones.
