Please Chance me for:
-Columbia ED
-Brown
-MIT EA
-U-Chicago EA
-Stanford
-Berkeley
-UCLA
-University of Washington
-Georgetown

Thanks!

I think you’re in at both UCs, but OOS probably wont get you too much aid =/. Everying in your application is up to par, but not super stellar, so you definitely need some good rec letters and essays to really make yourself unique. Good shot for UChicago EA, but MIT, Brown, Columbia, and Stanford all depend on having a good-looking app that makes you unique as an individual.

Chance me?

Thanks! I will definitely try to stand out more. But sure I will chance you!

Ill be glad to chance anyone who chances me :]

Columbia ED: Good Chance, lots of math awards. But look out for fellow asian male math genius’s:P

Brown: I think its a bit hard to get into, def try to make it past the 700 mark for CR ,i got 690 too ( i never thought i would, to be honest!) Try some sports maybe.

MIT: You need higher overall SAT score. You reallllyy need to be at your best, because you have math genius’s applying to MIT.

U chicago is very very very selective, i think a good essay would stand out. apparently they have quite interesting questions sometimes (a bit quirky)

the other four colleges, you have a BIG shot!
good luck and please comment on my thread!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/752972-what-my-chances-ivy-league-please.html

thanks! bumpppppppppppp please. anyone who would read this and chance me would be making one kid in washington very very very happy :]

bumpppppp …

You have a lot of major reaches. If you would not be happy to go to UW, I would add schools that are less competitive.

Columbia ED–Low chance, you’re not going to stand out from the pack that much in the ed round.

Brown–Low chance, has increased dramatically in selectivity.

MIT EA–Very low chance, you’re a very, very typical applicant.

U Chicago EA–High chance, they’ll want to try and reel you in during the early round.

Stanford–Very low chance, again a very, very typical applicant.

Berkeley–Very low chance, out of state and typical applicant.

UCLA–High chance.

University of Washington–Almost 100% in.

Georgetown–High chance.

thanks for the repliessss bump pleasee

Be careful with how you present your identity. And as such you NEVER EVER want to put down the name of your city. That, coupled with the additional information you gave out, I automatically knew which school you currently attend. Yesh, It’s that simple.

Are you applying to CC or SEAS? You didn’t specify which classes were SL or HL so I sort of extrapolated off of your subject tests that you’d be applying to SEAS…

-Columbia ED: Reach for just about everyone. SEAS is a tad easier, though.
-Brown: Reach
-MIT EA: Reach
-U-Chicago EA: Low reach/Match
-Stanford: Reach
-Berkeley: OOS, slightly harder to get in, Low reach/Match
-UCLA: Like Berkeley.
-University of Washington: Match
-Georgetown: Low reach

I am applying to CC. Also, the all my senior year courses are HL but I tested in SL my junior year. My SATII’s are very math/science-oriented, but I don’t think I have the ability to score high in history or lit… do you think it will be ok?

to samsunimomo: you are right… is there any way I can edit it or someway? thanks for the warning
