NHS, Frisbee Club organizer, peer tutor, ambassador (school tour guide), and integrity counselor
Recs: Good to excellent
App essay: Common app: Based around my passion for service and my trip to El Salvador for service (very good)
Supplemental: Based around my passion for enviromental engineering and wanting to use this passion (with Cornell’s help of course) to fix the water crisis in my local area. (Excellent)

I think you should stand a good chance, especially if you apply ED. The info I can find says that they take in about 36% of ED applicants, and I think that is quite a lot. Obviously, they will make an assessment to see if they think you would truly fit in at Cornell and there are no guarantees that you’ll get in but I think you have a good chance.

^ I highly doubt that number is right, and it’s higher than what I’ve found. That’s more likely the percentage of the class filled in ED. I think you have as good a chance as any competitive applicant, but they’ll have those in spades, so hopefully you’ve presented yourself well. I will caution you that your essay topic, however well written, is very cliche.

Oh ok, thank you. That essay and my chem subject test were actually the things I was most worried about. I guess I I just have to hope for the best then!
