Applying for financial aid

I'm looking to major in engineering

i'm applying to
Stanford (got deferred from scea)
Yale
Cornell
Duke
Dartmouth
Upenn
Drexel
Bucknell
Lafayette
Gettysburg

anyone...... please......

Yours scores and ECs are very good. But the Ivy League is very very tough to get into, especially for an international student; so its kind of a gamble. Don't lose hope though you've still got a fair shot. As for Stanford, I don't know it is ridiculously tough to get into so only little hope there I'm afraid. The rest you're in at. Hope this helps.

thanks greenboy! really appreciate it! anyone else!

I know stanford is almost impossible. they rejected three other applicants from my high school. i'm just being hopeful

The fact that you were deferred from Stanford and not rejected outright is encouraging.

I realised that when i read the thread on the actual syanford slaughter. i never knew it was that serious. thanks greenblue! anyone else....

Drexel-Gettysburg ur in. colleges don't care about ur junior high school stuff by the way. Your ivies and stanford and duke are gonna be tough. your deferral means u got shots tho. Id say out of the top schools you'll defiantly at the least get into one. Good luck.

thanks for your help! afitscher. I was really dreaming of cornell. Two guys from my high school in ghana got in last year, though one decided to go to columbia based on aid met. My high school has a reputation for sending guys to top schools. in my four years of school, i've seen grads go to Upenn(2) Harvard(1) Princeton (1) yale(3 students), MIT(4),Columbia(2), Cornell(2), Stanford (only one and that was three years ago).
I just wanted to know something
Most of these students had stats similar to mine or even lower.....
Does URM status as ghanaians cause them to overlook low SAT scores from 1900-2200. ( only the yale admit had a 2300)
