I was just trying to gauge my chances of getting into some of the semi-top schools as a political science or legal studies major, (UCB, UCLA, Columbia, NYU, UPenn UChicago, etc...) so I would really appreciate input from anyone! I graduated after my junior year in high school, went straight into a community college, and now am a sophomore doing applications to transfer as a junior. Here are my stats:

GPA:
High school unweighted: 3.9, weighted: about 4.2
College transferrable GPA: 4.0
I've met all of the IGETC requirements for UC transfer, and I have pretty much completed all of the major transfer requirements for philosophy, history, economics, UCB legal studies, and political science for most of the UC's. I'm also currently taking a HIST-4A class at UCB through a concurrent enrollment program, and that is going really well. I have AP credits for Spanish (5) and European History (3).

SAT:
I only took the SAT once, and that was without really studying at all; I just wanted to see how I would do, so my score is pretty raw. I am planning on retaking the SAT's (reasoning and Math II) during winter break and actually preparing this time.
Verbal: 650
Math: 700
Writing: 690
Total: 2040
SAT II Spanish: 740

Extracurriculars:
High school marching band member(trombone, mellophone, baritone) (3 years; I graduated after my junior year so I couldn't participate in my "senior year"); section leader 10th and 11th grade
Member of concert band, orchestra, and wind ensemble (trombone, french horn, baritone) (3 years)
Member/Section leader of the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (baritone/mellophone); (3 years)
High school varsity tennis (3 years)
NCS-CIF Scholar Athlete (3 years)
Worked as tennis instructor (2 years)
Spanish volunteer tutor (1 year)
Band volunteer instructor (1 year)
VP and Inter-Club Council Representative for College's Careers and Majors Club (1 year)
Member of Phi Theta Kappa (1 year)
Volunteer as summer-school professor's aide (3 years)
member of Galileo Music Academy (cello); (1 year)

Recommendation letters: I have one really strong one so far from one of my past professors, and I'm still thinking about the second one.

Essays: Strong

I know that the transfer admission rates for schools like Columbia and UChicago hover around 5-10%, and from looking at other applicants' stats on CC, I doubt that I would be in that top ten percent. My community college is known to be the "feeder" school for UC Berkeley; 209 students transferred to UCB from my community college last year. For UC Berkeley I would apply to the College of Letters and Science for Legal Studies (my ultimate goal is to do a double major in Legal Studies and Mass Comm, Minor in Rhetoric or Spanish), but for pretty much all of the other schools, I would apply as a Political Science Major. I'm pretty much maxed out on transferrable units, so during next semester (my last semester) I have a really light schedule, and I plan on just doing a lot of extracurriculars in order to beef up my private school applications that are due after March.
I would really appreciate any sort of input or advice regarding admissions, thanks!
