I think you have excellent chances at all of these schools. The only ones that will be tougher are Chicago, Carleton and WUSTL. Best of luck!

Thanks a bunch

Any other opinions? Which school would be the most affordable for a Illinois resident?

bumppppppp

ranks will hurt at some of the colleges…illinois is the most affordable for sure

I don’t like your list of colleges (though I understand you have financial reasons). You have some schools that are below your level and some that are above. If you’re a junior, you should consider applying to some better schools that would be considered matches.

Consider these:

NTL- University of Rochester, Michigan, Wisconsin, NYU

LA- Grinnell, Macalester, Occidental, University of Richmond

And yeah, Carleton, WashU, and Chicago will be the hardest. Why apply to those in particular? GL!

Well I live close to Chicago and it seems like an amazing school. Im going to visit in the spring. Carleton is close enough to Chicago, and it seems like a fun but nerdy school Im not too sure about WUSTL although ive heard only good about it. I thought about Michigan but it might be too expensive for OOS. =[ Wisconsin is def. a possibility though! Thanks. I kinda wanna stay in the Midwest though. What colleges on my list do you think would not offer great aid to me? My parents make 80000-90000 a year combined. What schools do you think I shoudl eliminate? Keep in mind that I need some safeties! Thanks North_face

BUmpity!!!
