Reviewers: Counselor, probably pretty good because she knows me really well/ loves me. Teachers: AP Bio teacher and saw me struggle through AP because of an insufficient honors bio education, still got a 5. Math teacher/ homeroom teacher: saw me excel naturally at math, can testify to my leadership in homeroom. Weaknesses?: grades, B- in Calc, persistent Bs in english

Wow you seem like a great candidate for all of them, will come down to how much you can wow them with your essay(which i am sure will be brilliant).

You have a shot. The only Achilles’ heel of your profile is your lackluster ECs. I know it is hard to significantly improve on that your last few months left, but try your best.

Also, if I were you, I would definitely apply to Princeton SCEA. The have notoriously high rate of acceptance for legacy students.

A 4.36 with a B- and consistent B’s? What is your unweighted GPA? That’s more important than weighted.

Change your essay topics! You have “research at hospital” and “shadowing doctors”, and you are writing about math/latin club?

Make your essay about how struggling through bio increased your love of the subject.

I have a total of 4 B’s (including a B+ and a B- ) out of about 40 classes. My school does not give unweighted GPA, but I’d estimate it around 3.9

What a typo! My essays are actually about my research and swimming

They’re all reaches for everyone, but I would agree that you have a decent chance at all of them; Darthmouth more so than the others.

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1690007-claremont-mckenna-duke-bucknell-grinnell-uofr-chances.html#latest

You’ve got a decent shot at ED to dartmouth. If not, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford are all possible if you have good essays/recs. Legacy at princeton will also help.
